Nichols now manufactures a full line of high-performance sod blades for the turf industry with unique features available only from Nichols.

For example, Nichols offers the industry’s only forged sod blade. The increased grain density of hot forging gives our side plates and center blades an amazing ability to hold an edge and resist rock damage. Special heat treating provides excellent wear characteristics and with the addition of hardfaced side plates are unsurpassed in wear resistance. Hardfacing is available on either the inside or outside; inside hardfacing gives the user the ability to field re-sharpen if needed.
